This position is for one of the major groups in the industrial, services, trading and investment sectors. The objective of the position is to oversee the identification of new investment opportunities, the conduct of feasibility studies, financial analyses and due diligence, define the risks and present mitigating solutions, taking into account trends within the operating environment. The ideal candidate is one who has led at a group level investment projects units. Upon investment decision, he will oversee the building of the annual business plans, manage a system of continuous monitoring and review of performance versus objectives and when relevant indicators show, recommend solutions to improve performance. The ideal candidate would have a strong experience in corporate investments, project finance, and a wide knowledge of industry, market and investment trends locally, regionally and the broader economy. He must be familiar with preparing IPOs, M&As, and direct investments. A Saudi national is required for this position, should have held an equivalent position for at least 5 years in a large of companies, ideally has an MBA, and CPA and/or CFA will be a plus. He will be a strategist, has strong analytical skills, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible for growing the asset management business, developing and executing the business plan for listed equities, sukuk balanced portfolios, and structured products, facilitating documentation and approval process for product structuring and launch, formulating investment strategies and developing discretionary portfolio mandates, and establishing effective relations with institutional institutions and regulatory agencies. To succeed in this role, the candidate must have an extensive track record in fund management and investment of at least 10 years, diverse relevant background in product structuring, research, pricing, management, promotion and distribution. They require accounting and/or finance professionals who will prepare in-house studies and reports on the financial performance of publicly listed corporations, industries, and securities to support its asset management and investment banking activities The typical tasks include monitoring securities and their performance trends, analyzing financial statements and conducting other performance research to provide equity or industry valuation reports as well as investment appraisals for the purpose of defining investment strategies. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or finance, a CPA or CFA qualification is strongly desired, and should have at least 5 years relevant experience in a financial services company
