The key tasks include managing the finance department including the financial and company ERP systems, preparing the budget and making regular reports to management on sales, income, expenditure and any variations from budgets, and overseeing the timely preparation of financial reports. The Director will also in consultation with executive management, direct investment activities, implement cash management strategies, and develop strategies and implement long-term goals of the company. He is expected to make periodic analysis of operations in general, of the viability of business units, and the profitability of products and services and make appropriate recommendations. The candidate should have been a director of at least 7 years of a group of companies with diverse activities with aggregate turnover exceeding SAR10 Billion per annum. He should have a basic degree in accounting or finance and preferably CPA qualified or MBA holder. He has to have analytical skills, familiars with ERP solutions, team player and has a broad view of organizational planning and development.

He ensures budgets are updated periodically, submitting performance reports with analysis on actual and budget information for decision making to management. A basic university degree in Accounting is expected, and related profession qualification such as CPA/CMA/CFA is a must. Minimum 8 years experience in Accounting / Finance, preferably in a reputed company in insurance or service industry, of which 4 years as Manager or Head of Budgeting and Planning department.

One of the oldest privately owned manufacturing companies of sanitary wares, fittings and fixtures with their products found in hotels, commercial buildings and residential houses is in need of a Chief Financial Officer. He will e responsible for implementing accounting systems, policies and procedures, financial control, budget preparation and management, cashflow, the timely preparation of financial statements, and year-end review of business performance against objectives. The candidate will have at least 12 years experience in finance and accounting, the last 6-7 years of which should be a Director level. 5+ years experience in providing the full range of accounting and associated services for a group of companies or a large company, including general accounting statutory accounting, treasury, planning and budgeting, and MIS. This position is open for Saudis and other nationalities with Arabic language skills, bachelor degree in accounting is a must, CPA also a must in some cases.
